The story of how I met Petronella is an interesting one. I was at a wedding show when a nice woman came up to me. She told me that she was there helping a friend find vendors for her upcoming wedding. We talked for a long while, not only about wedding stuff but life stuff, and that conversation was the highlight of the show for me. Two weeks later I received a postcard in the mail from by Petronella Photography. Turns out Petronella was looking for other vendors to reach out to and create relationships with. I contacted her and a few weeks later we made plans to meet for lunch. It was so nice, especially since it was the first time I had been out in the world, besides doing weddings, since the birth of my daughter. At this point my little Olivia was 4 months old. I told Petronella that the next day I would be going into the city to pick up flowers for my next wedding. I also told her I would be doing this with Olivia, as baby girl, refused to take a bottle…so she came everywhere with me this past fall…including the 11 trips I made into NYC to pick up flowers and the 11 weddings said flowers were for. She jumped at the chance to follow me and document my story. This past week her bio of me was featured on her blog.
I can say this with heartfelt honesty that Petronella is an amazing photographer, a wonderful person, and now happily I can add her not only to the category of colleague but also friend.
