What a cute, quaint venue. Everything in one place, and when you book your wedding here you get the whole property for the entire weekend, with rooms to stay in. Pretty cool. Thinking of a rustic chic look for your wedding, you should definitely check this place out, The Inn at Millrace Pond.

Dahlia, oh Dahlia….Last years dahlia's gave me a heart attack. They just weren't that hearty…shake the flowers a tiny bit and every last petal would be lying on the floor. This past fall…..the Dahlia's were amazing and they were a ton easier to work with. Just goes to show you that flowers are finicky and a little difference in weather from year to year can make a big difference in product.

Little baby Olivia, who was just 3 months old was on site…the professional photographer got a pic of her and my husband…what a bad Mommy I am…all I took was pictures of the flowers! So These are all my photo's…I'll post the professionals soon!

For the bridal party…dark pink dahlia's, blue globe echinops, eucalyptus, ivory spray roses, and patience garden roses.

This is how I deliver them….they have their own little party in their red solo cups..drink up!

Brass Cuff Wrist corsages…I prefer making them on the cuffs rather than that promy elastic band

Ceremony arch…I always order extra flowers..note my comments about the dahlia's, and bring them on site. The Shepard's hooks were planned, but the arch flower clusters were my little present to the bride:)

The bride walks to the ceremony over this little bridge, which becomes the aisle...

Card table arrangement…

The cocktail hr was held inside the house with different types of food in each room…nice way to keep your guests circulating. The reception was tented and held outside.

The Terrarium part of the trio's that were on each table, with little had written care cards…I didn't get a great shot of the trio's together on the table…hopefully the photographer did! Each table had a trio of a terrarium of succulent, protea (the orange thing), and moss, a potted orchid, and a small arrangement of garden roses. The idea was to keep things as green as possible…aka centerpieces that wouldn't die right after the wedding…this wedding was in September and there were a few extra potted orchids. I've been enjoying them since, the blooms on them are still going! And the terrarium is a great way to have a beautiful centerpiece that your guests can take home and enjoy…maybe even for years.
